Creative Gardening with Hypertufa

September marks the first of our three “Make and Take” workshops.

THIS WORKSHOP IS FULL.  Thank you for your support!

September 10, 10:00 – 12:00 am – Gilmer County Library –

hypertuf LeafMaster Gardener Carol Harris will be teaching how to create concrete leaves to be used as garden accents or bird baths. Concrete leaves are easy to make and add a beauty to your garden. Come prepared to get your hands dirty as we discover the joys of sculpting a mixture of Portland cement and sand.

In this 2-hour workshop each person will create an embellished garden piece to take home.

Several recipes for the medium will be discussed and written instructions provided for your further explorations.  Wear your grubbiest work-clothes and prepare to have fun! Snacks will be provided.

Registration fee: $20
